Black Throated Magpie Jay on Hill Product:Black Throated Magpie Jay on Hill Individual tiles: 9Inspired by the clever Blue Throated Magpie Jay, a bird known for its showy flight and its wily foraging, this poplar wood sculpture is carved on a bandsaw and painted with layers of latex enamel paint. Staying true to the coloration of the species, the work displays black feet and eye catching blue and white patterning as it perches upon a carved wood mound with charming blades of grass painted along its sides.
