Shimano Rear Derailleur RD-RX812 GRX 11-SPEED, 1x11 insulated mittens 16 degreesThe Shimano RD RX812 is a GRX 11 speed rear derailleur built for gravel riders running a 1x11 drivetrain. Shimano gives it a long GS cage to wrap an 11 40T or 11 42T cassette with 31 tooth total capacity, and a Shadow RD+ clutch with an on off switch to quell chain slap on washboard and chunk. At 267g it holds shifts secure over rough terrain. As the 1x specific GRX unit, this derailleur pairs a wide gravel range with a quiet, stable chain.
