Saxon Duchies. A Saxe-Ernestine House Order 1914 Sword Clasp Hold named "Priv(Schwerterspange 1914 fr Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a ribbed plaque bearing a raised date of 1914, unmarked, measuring 38. 30 mm (w) x 16. 25 mm (h), weighing 4. 5 grams, with some tarnishing evident, in very fine condition.
